It was a successful day on Capitol Hill this year, virtually! Our delegation of over 25 MRS members, met with nearly all of the Massachusetts Senators, Congressmen and Congresswomen and/or their staff via zoom. We discussed with them issues important to us including the impact of changes to E/M coding to the Medicare Fee structure, adjustments to the Protecting Access to Medicare Act (PAMA) language to Appropriateness Use Criteria (AUC) to facilitate implementation and prevent further delays, and the Dr. Lorna Breen Health Care Provider Protection Act.
