MEMBERS CAN JOIN the MRS independently or through the ACR, however we strongly encourage interested radiologists TO JOIN BOTH ORGANIZATIONS. If a radiologist joins the ACR, he or she automatically joins the MRS. The ACR notifies each state chapter of membership.If a radiologist wishes to join the MRS only, he or she needs to fill out an application available below. To read and print these applications, you will need Adobe’s free Acrobat Reader software.
As of 6/1/2012, membership dues are:
MRS: $175 per year (physicians) and $75 (physicists)
ACR: $ 850 per year (physician) and $230 (physicists)
Recent members in training continuing their ACR membership: If a member was in training within the last four years that they may be eligible for a discount with ACR and should contact membership before submitting the paperwork.
A typical schedule for graduated dues would be this:
