It was a successful day on Capitol Hill this year! Our delegation of over 50 MRS members, met with all of the Massachusetts Senators, Congressmen and Congresswomen and/or their staff. We discussed with them issues important to us including the CT Colongraphy Screening for Colorectal Cancer Act, the importance of preserving patient access to early screening services (by preserving section 2713 of the patient protection and affordable care act), as well as the importance of not just preserving, but increasing, NIH funding.
